I’m a thirty-something ex-pat living in The (rainy) Netherlands with my husband and our dog. I spend my days writing and sipping tea or oatmilk cappuccinos, and my evenings sipping single malt scotch on the rocks, and reading anything romance related. 

I’ve been a lot of things in my life: a Starbucks barista, a rebel with a cause, a nurse’s aide, a girl drunk in a bar singing too loudly (especially for being tone deaf), a research assistant, and a sandwich specialist. Most recently, I’ve been a nurse, but after a decade in healthcare, I now choose to spend my days writing male leads who set the romance bar way too high.

My favorite place to write is a small, outdoor cafe, sitting in the shade where I can smell the ocean, and hear the waves crashing against the shore.

My dream is to live as a recluse in the mountains, in a small cabin nestled in a valley, set on a pristine lake that reflects the mountains back to me with hubby and our dog (and the hundred other dogs I want to adopt), where I can write on the porch with the sounds of smell of the mountains around me, and the sound of the waves of the lake crashing against the shore.
